I left them in a
Dusty little corner
In the silent recesses of
My cerebral memory
Never wanting to explain
I waged my war and thought
All is done
My war is won
For the 2-dimensioal soul
This may be true
But I
Being the deepest thinker
Know
The wars of life come
In unexpected waves
Forcing us to stand up
Just as we begin
To settle in.
